Handover & Aftercare

After your property has been completed it is important to CityRise that you are fully prepared ready to move yourself or your tenant in. Regardless of whether you are an investor or owner occupier, you will receive our first-class handover service.

On the day of your handover, you will be greeted by a dedicated member of our handover team who will guide you through your brand new property and the development as a whole. You will be shown around any communal areas and on site amenities as well as a detailed demonstration of all appliances within the property. Once you are happy with everything, we will pass over the keys but remain on standby in case you have any further questions or need support in any way.

Snagging

After your property completes, we recommend that a full snagging report is completed to ensure you, or your tenant are not met with any unwanted surprises after moving in. Although new-build properties are constructed to the highest standards, there is always the possibility that something is not quite working as it should be.

With CityRise’s comprehensive snagging service you can rest with the knowledge that our dedicated aftercare team has thoroughly inspected your new property. Any problems will be immediately reported to the developer and rectified before the official move in date.

Furniture

No home is complete without being properly furnished. This is true regardless of whether you are choosing to live in the property or letting it out. However, furnishing an investment property can be especially important to achieve the most attractive returns on your property.
